I know that my mom would be fine with me sharing our phone conversation today. Many of you know my mom, and even worked with my dad when he worked for me. My dad has been gone for about 9 years but my mom is still here at age 93. It is important for me to speak with my mom every day, but it’s not always possible. You see, she’s in an assisted  living facility in the “memory care” section.

My mom has dementia and she is often confused and lives in a former time in her life. To make matters worse, she is also blind.
