Years ago, in one of my books, I wrote an article/chapter entitled "Wax Paper Vision.” Imagine placing wax paper over your eyes and try to operate for a day. Nothing would be clear, everything would be foggy, you couldn't see where you were going. Frustration would set in and you might just quit trying. So, how does this relate? Please read on.
One must have a clear vison as to what he/she is trying to accomplish. Vision also means that you are truly thinking and planning for something big. Something that could change you, the industry, your family, your town and on and on.
I once heard a quote by someone say, "Never entertain a small idea because no one will buy it including yourself.” So, I challenge you in this planning season to be a visionary and think big. I would like to close with another writing from the book "The Best of Success" by Wynn Davis: “Vision is the gift of seeing clearly what may be. Vision expands our Horizons. The more we see, the more we can achieve; the grander our vison, the more glorious our accomplishment. The courage to follow our dreams is the first step toward destiny."
